ADSL2+ 24mbit
The future is here! With the start of the rollout of the 21CN network already underway, we are able to offer 24mbps* speeds to those in the vincinity of ADSL2+ enabled gateways. The noc.enta.net site lists which regions are available.
As with the other broadband products here, there are no hidden fair use policies, no acceptable use policies, and no restrictions on what you can download - you will only be limited by your computer and the web servers you connect to. All of these products listed here offer unlimited off-peak bandwidth, and the advertised peak-time allowance. Please note the peak/off-peak definitions are different for these products here.
Recommendations
For those bewildered by the choices available, we provide recommendations based on what you think you will need it for. For all our packages, there are no long-term obligation to stay with them - the only contract terms are for a period of 30 days - you can cancel it after 1 month, or change to another package.

Light use
If you intend to just lightly browse web sites and send emails:
We recommend the 2plus 3 package which offers 3GB of peak time bandwidth, and unlimited off peak, at the cost of £11.75 per month.

General use
For multipurpose use of streaming and gaming:
We recommend the 2plus 35 package which offers 35GB of peak time bandwidth, and unlimited bandwidth off peak, at the cost of £19.99 per month. This will provide ample bandwidth to stream videos and browse media-heavy sites.

Heavy use
If you intend to use the connection heavily in the daytime:
We recommend the 2plus 80 package which offers 80GB of peak time bandwidth, and unlimited off peak use, at the cost of £29.99 per month.

If your business depends on your connection being available:
We recommend the Enhanced Care extra on top of your chosen package (we recommend 2plus 80 for businesses to start with) which offer a priority response to any line faults.

Bandwith Top-ups
These add to your peak time allowance (off peak usage does not take any out). Unused bandwidth will rollover every month until the top up itself is used up.

Notes
* your connection rate is dependant on several variables: how close you are to the gateway, and the quality of your connection. Your internal telephony network setup can affect the quality of the line to your ADSL modem, as well as the distance travelled.
** Your own usage of the line will also affect latency times.
*** The off-peak period is 1am-7am, every day.
With all our services, you will be able to monitor your bandwidth use on a daily basis. Should you go over your allowance for the month, the connection will be rate limited, until the next billing cycle or a top up is purchased.
